Chitwan Rhinos Retain Seven Core Players Ahead of Nepal Premier League Season

Chitwan Rhinos have stepped up their preparations for the upcoming Nepal Premier League (NPL) season by confirming the retention of seven key players, reinforcing continuity at the core of their squad.

The franchise announced that it has retained a strong group of performers from last season, aiming to build stability and long-term competitiveness as they head into the new campaign.

The retained players include star all-rounder Kushal Malla, promising young batter Dev Khanal, wicketkeeper-batter Arjun Saud, fast bowler Kamal Singh Airee, along with Rijan Dhakal, Ranjit Kumar, and Deepak Bohora.

According to the team management, these players were central to the Rhinos’ progress in the previous season, contributing across departments and helping shape the team’s overall development. The mix brings together international experience, domestic consistency, and emerging young talent, forming what the franchise considers a solid foundation for future success.

Kushal Malla’s leadership qualities and all-round capabilities are expected to play a key role once again, while young talents like Dev Khanal and Arjun Saud continue to grow as important prospects in Nepalese cricket. Kamal Singh Airee’s versatility with both bat and ball adds further balance to the side.

Meanwhile, Rijan Dhakal, Ranjit Kumar, and Deepak Bohora have earned continued trust from the management through their consistent performances and commitment on the field.

The Chitwan Rhinos management stated that retaining this core group is the first step in building a more balanced and competitive squad. The remaining team composition will be finalized through the upcoming player draft and recruitment process ahead of the season.
