The much-anticipated second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) T20 tournament is officially set to begin on November 17, 2025, and will run through December 13, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced. Cricket fans across the country are gearing up for an action-packed month as eight competitive teams prepare to clash for Nepal’s top T20 cricket crown.

Last year’s champions, the Janakpur Bolts, will look to defend their title as the tournament expands in size and popularity. With the recent mini-auction already completed, teams are now gearing up with fresh squads, including a blend of experienced campaigners and exciting new talents.
The Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, the main venue for the NPL 2025, is undergoing significant upgrades. CAN has confirmed the installation of new parapets and modern floodlights to ensure better facilities for both players and fans. These enhancements are expected to elevate the matchday experience and support the growth of cricket in Nepal.
